Young grandmaster Vladislav Artemiev (Kazan) clinched the first place in the RSSU Blitz Chess Cup that was held Monday, February 6 within the frames of the International RSSU Cup, 2017 Moscow Open additional program. He scored 8 points in 9 rounds. 15-year old Alexander Tryapishko (Crimea) showed the same result but his tie-breaks turned to be lower, and he took the second place. We should mark that Artemiev also won this tournament last year.
The bronze medal was won by the experienced international master Alexander Reprintsev (Ukraine). He scored 7,5 points and outran two more representatives of Ukraine – Kirill Shevchenko and Vitaliy Bernadskiy due to tie-breaks.
Evgenia Shukhareva (Rostov-on-Don), Anastasia Sazonova (TYumen) and Elmira Mirzoeva (Moscow) with 5,5 points showed the best result among women.
It should be added that 210 participants took part in the competitions.
