Dmitry Gordievsky (Moscow) and Vladislav Artemiev (Kazan) shared the first place in the 2017 Moscow Open Men’s Cup of Russia. Both grandmasters scored 7,5 points in nine rounds. Last round Gordievsky played in a draw with Gata Kamsky (USA) and Artemiev won over Maksim Vavulin (Moscow). Higher tie-breaks allowed the chess player from Moscow to climb the top of the podium.
The third place was shared between Boris Grachev (Moscow), Denis Khismatullin (Neftekamsk), Gata Kamsky (USA), Maksat Atabayev (Turkmenia) and Evgeny Levin (St. Petersburg). These chess players occupy the lines of the table in this order. The bronze belongs to Grachev.
