The Sozvezdie Dobra charity fund has recently started to take care of three young talented chess players: these are Ilya Makoveev (Moscow region), Elizaveta Solozhenkina (St. Petersburg) and five-year old Misha Osipov (Moscow), famous for his participation in different shows. All of them are now playing in the 2018 Moscow Open. One of the days the kids together with their parents dropped in to the press-center to play a friendly game and to answer several questions.
Misha told that he likes to play in this tournament. Most of all he liked his game of the seventh round and in future he wants to become a famous grandmaster, like Magnus Carlsen.
“I planned to fulfill the standards of a FIDE master, and I still have chances,” – Ilya told. He is playing in the A tournament. So far he considers his participation in the Moscow Open as satisfactory. In the nearest future a young but talented player wants to participate in the Cup of Russia final event.
Liza, who is playing in the Women’s Cup of Russia, said, she planned to fight for the standards of a women’s grandmaster. “I started with a 100% result in the first three rounds, but managed to score only half a point in the next three rounds. Now my goal is to finish the tournament well,” – Liza concluded.
We are sure, bright future and new successes are waiting for kids!
